Pomerado Community Band

The band is supported by donations, concert ticket sales and fund-raisers. The band received a "seed-money" grant from the City of Poway in 1990 to support the organization of the group. Since that time, we have raised funds to support the budget through honoraria performances, concert ticket sales, refreshment sales at local street fairs and events, hosting the Community Band Festival held in Poway, donations from members, can recycling, and grocery certificate sales. Members are encouraged to assist the band in fund-raisers and tax deductible donations are gratefully accepted.
