Pomerado Community Band

The band was formed as a non-profit corporation in the State of California in November of 1990. The band qualifies as a non-profit tax exempt organization under the Federal IRS regulations 501 (c)(3). The band is governed by a board of directors who are elected by the general band membership at an annual meeting in January of each year. Board members are volunteers and officers consist of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and up to five directors-at-large. Standing committees include Nominating, Ways and Means, Public Relations, and Performance. All members of the band are encouraged to participate on the board and/or in a committee of interest to the member. We need everyone's help and participation for continued success of the band.
