Pomerado Community Band

Several band members have formed ensemble groups. These groups are open to band members based on instrumentation needs. Ensemble groups rehearse as needed and agreed upon by members of the ensemble. Members are encouraged to form groups with other band members. Please notify your section leader or board member if you have interest in forming a group. Ensemble groups that have performed in the past include:

· Pomerado Big Band: 17 piece dance and swing band.
· Oktoberfest Band : 9 piece ensemble playing "oom-pah" music
· Jazz Combo: 5 piece Jazz Combo
· Brass Ensemble: Brass musicians perform classical/holiday pieces
· Dixieland Band: 6 piece Dixieland Jazz Band
· Woodwind Ensemble: Woodwind Quartet
· Ceremonial Band: 25 piece concert band performs for special community events
· Sax Quartet: 4 piece saxophone group
